got new shoes (thank you Adidas for making shoes for those of us that have narrow feet) which needed to be compressed, got 9 clicks on them today so I'm feeling they should be ok for the marathon. The ol' shox died on me after sunday...I don't think I can run 20k in them...they're now only good for x-training. felt good today, had some minor irritations in my ankles, like tiny pin like pains but nothing that slowed me down, they went away after a few minutes. Legs felt good but felt some pressure in the pelvis after 8k.
I also always get a small stitch in my left shoulder/ribs in the first kilometer that I seem to get rid of but it lasts for 4-5 minutes with some deep, diaphram expanding breaths.
So 8 K on Sunday, 9K today, I have two spins ahead this week and hopefully a longer...16K on Sunday. Then, on from there...
