Potato Stamps

There's alot of things I remember about primary school, and potato stamps was one of them...I think I'm onto a 'retro craft' binge for the next few posts!
You'll need some liquid tempra paint
a few large potatoes
newspaper
a plate to hold your paint and dip your potatoes in

Cut your potato to desired thickness. It doesn't need to be too thick, you can make three stamps out of one average sized potato (and not a lot of wasting)

Design your shape, like a heart, stars, basic shapes or if you had your afternoon coffee, a more intricate design like a happy face

...and then, let 'er rip!

And once the potato stamps lose their charm...Get messy, really, really messy :D

I too found your blog from KV style. But I just find it very disturbing that with publishing so much about yourself, your children and where you live. You are endangering your children and yourself because any creep can find you and your family on here and where you live as it's not exactly a big town. Just a thought that if you love your kids so much, its a shame you plaster their photos and names all over here. Not exactly deserving of a great mother award in my opinion. I would just be more careful.
