I've been looking at making my own roman shades for our living room windows. The sunlight, as much as it's welcomed in my home any day, shows all the stains on my couch and toast crumbs on my floors. It's time to put up the shades up and further procrastinate on buying a new couch (it's cheaper to make new vs. buying a new living room set )or simply sweeping the floor everyday.
